Baie Saint-Paul is a small city on the northern shore of the Saint Lawrence River in the Charlevoix region of Quebec. It is a well-known place due to its arts galleries and restaurants.

What makes it a nice place is its geographical situation, a small valley where mountains and the Saint Lawrence River meet, with really nice landscapes. I guess that this is why a lot of artists have chosen this city: inspiration meets you just looking these landscapes! The city is small but nice, with charming houses and lots of art galleries. It has a small harbour which in winter gives a nice view of the frozen river. Close to the harbour you can find a small forest where you can walk in the freshness in summer or protect from the wind in winter.

Going southwest and at just twenty minutes by car you have the Sentiers des Caps, a park where you can hike in summer or ski and snowshoe in winter, with breathtaking landscapes over the Saint Lawrence River. If you take the road in the opposite direction, northeast, you can go to the Casino de Charlevoix if you want to lose your money!

Baie Saint-Paul makes a nice place to escape for the weekend… landscapes, nature close-by, and good food… whatever is your interest I am sure that you can find something interesting in this city and the environs!
