My advice is not to miss this attraction in case you have a free time in Jinghong. Grab a cold beer that is cheaper then water here and walk around a big area, stuffed with over 1000 types of plants that grow both on soil and in water. It is a theme botanical garden and includes areas for plant research, technology items, and sidewalks to enjoy the nature.

Schedule about 3 hours (or maybe a bit more if you really going to inspect every tree on the road). It’s easy to get there by foot (especially if you stay in Banna College hotel – Banna Xueyuan located on Xuanwei Dadao) or taking a cab – a taxi everywhere in town should cost 5 RMB.
