The Work of Mother Nature at Red Rock Canyon
written by sugiyamasatomi on June 1st, 2009 , 7 comments (12 votes)

So, I researched online to see what else I can do while visiting Las Vegas, and there! I found it! Red Rock Canyon! It’s only 30 minutes away from the main strip, and unlike wasting bunch of money in the city, it only cost $5.00 per car to get into this beautiful national park. Just as the name suggests, the canyon is RED! It’s a little bit hard to see in most of the pictures because I used a red scale film, but you can at least see how beautiful the canyon is!

There are so many trails you can go on and some of them take a few hours to hike back, so if you want to try out diffirent trails, I suggest you to get there early. We got there around 3 o’clock, so we only got to try out 2 trails, but both of them were differently amazing! During the hiking, we actually run across some rock climbers, and that was also interesting to see. Of course, that means, you could be the one to try rock climbing, too!
You can forget about the busy city life for a day, and wonder into the work of Mother Nature at Red Rock Canyon!
