Tenjin Central Park is located in Fukuoka Perfecture in Kyushu area, the western side of Japan. The park serves as an oasis of Fukuoka City, and many people enjoy their time and get relaxed there on holidays. There are two major spots to visit in the park.
One is the fountain and the other is “Kihinkan”. The fountain is made of building stone taken from the Fukuoka prefecture’s old government office building. People kept columns of the building when the government office was moved to the other area and made a fountain from it. “Kihinkan” is one of the oldest wooden structures in Japan and designated as a nationally important cultural property. You need to pay entrance fee to visit the Kihinkan unless you are 65 years old and up!
There are so many good foods in Kyushu! In Fukuoka area. “Motsu-nabe” & “Tonkotsu noodle” are very well-known, so if you have a chance to visit there, you have to try at least one of them. YUMMY!!
