Morelia City Zoo

The zoo is one of the best places to see wild beasts and kids, as they both spend a lot of time there. So if you're in town and want to lomograph some lions, giraffes, elephants or small kids, this is one of the best places to go.

The local zoo is a good place to go if you are, have, or often feel like a small child. There are lots of animals from all around the world, such as tigers, hippopotamus, buffaloes, zebras and several different types of birds. Besides the different animals, there is a little lake, some safari choo-choo trains and snack cars shaped like ducks, also you can buy souvenirs (and more snacks) both in and outside of the zoo.

I came here in my last birthday to get my present (a Diana+) going, so, once it was loaded with a roll of slide film I started shooting and even though they’re not my best shots and I didn’t know a lot about this little camera, I just loved these seven shots. So just one more tip, on Sundays, the zoo is packed, full of kids and their parents (if that’s good or bad depends on your personal preferences) and don’t feed the monkeys (or the polar bears).
