One of the highlights of my recent trip to Singapore was soaring up aboard the tallest observation wheel in the world: the Singapore Flyer. The ride was simply exhilirating. A ride costs you SGD 30.00/head but the 30-minute revolution is a fantastic way to top any Singapore visit.
Reaching 42 stories high, it is currently the largest Ferris wheel in the world, with a total height of 165 m (541 ft). This exceeds the Star of Nanchang by 5 m (16 ft) and the London Eye by 30 m (98 ft). Expect to see the glittering Marina Bay and major landmarks of Singapore such as the Esplanade – Theatres by the Bay and the upcoming Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort.
During my evening ride, I really had a blast shooting with my Horizon Perfekt. To capture the amazing city lights, I loaded my camera with Fuji Press 800 film, which produces outstanding nighttime photos.
