Few advices: come early since the place is being closed near 5 o’clock (we’ve got a bit late and were lucky to see some Chinese Red Army training on the way :). Consider to use the audio guide, though it is kinda cumbersome: the guide has a location information and if you reach a certain point – the appropriate story is played automatically. In spite of the fact that it might take time to find those magic spots, the historical information is very educating.

The Forbidden City is probably the most famous touristic place in Bejing nowadays. You can see multiple visitors, coming from all over the world as well as touristic groups, coming from all the corners of China.

After visiting the Forbidden City you may proceed to the Jingshan Park to take a cool photos of the City roofs or to the Tienanmen Square to join all the fresh Beijing tourists – they are all waiting and will disappear in seconds after the electric lights will be switched on :)
