Deukmejian Wilderness Park in La Crescenta (California)
written by herbert-4 on April 12th, 2009 , one comment (4 votes)

Also at Deukmejian Wilderness Park is the 1914 George Le Mesnager Barn and a vinyard. Every year, the Glendale Historical Society makes a few barrels of wine here. The gardener says it’s very sour. La Crescenta is now part of Glendale.

Here, on weekends, you will find artists, and art classes doing landscapes. The views are excellent. Also, for those of you who have to worry about this, the public toilet is clean(!!), have handicapped access, and washed every day. The Camera used for the photos is a 1950 Fedka. I looked up the serial number on Google, and it’s, coincidentally, my birth year.

Deukmejian Wilderness Park is located at:
3429 Markridge Road
La Crescenta, California 91214
Tel. # 818-548-3795

Not only the view seems to be excellent - also the toilets :)
