Biarritz is placed in the French Basque Country near Spain. It’s placed near bayonne and Anglet and 20 km far away from Spain.
45 years ago, Biarritz welcomed Europe’s first surfers to its beaches. With its large beaches and powerful waves it’s one of the main Europe Paradises for surfers and rich people. Biarritz is also home of luxury hotels, Casinos and mansions. Formerly the summer mansion of Napoleon III and Empress Eugenia, now among the most beautiful hotels in the world, the Hotel du Palais overlooks Biarritz’s main beaches. If you find a place for parking the car, you can walk along the beach and take a coffee in any of the terraces all along the beach promenade. If you want to surf you can also rent a teacher to show you how to do it. Just do it before summer, otherwise the expertises will laught at you and won’t let to ride a wave.
The city is full of shops, cafes and nice places to visit but the best part is the coast. There’s also a phare which is a nice place to shoot. You can see all the beach from there.
