Chin Swee Caves Temple is about 5 to 10 minutes drive down from First World Hotel and is situated on a rocky forested land. The land was donated by the late Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Lim Goh Tong who is a devotee of the Reverend Chin Swee. Chin Swee Caves Temple was officially opened on 29 March 1994 after about 18 years of hard work in manually digging the foundation of the temple and work in such a risky environment.
You can notice a 9 levels pagoda in the temple. Visitors can climb up to the highest level and take picture of the wonderful scenery of clouds and skies way above the sea level.
Beside that, there are few big Buddha statues within the compound of this temple, Amitabha is one of them. In the temple, there is a storyboard that tells the tales of this temple. There are The Eighteen ‘Loa-Han’, the explanation of ‘The Hell’ by the Taoism, ‘The re-born’ as well as The Kuan-yin Statue and the Famous Eight Gods. There are explanation below every statue.
Not to forget, there are a statue of the late Tan Sri Dato Seri (Dr) Lim Goh Tong. “God give us the ability of thinking, talking & action. Just fully utilize the ability, nothing is impossible!” by Tan Sri Dato Seri (Dr) Lim Goh Tong.
