Boracay Island Honeymoon Experiment
written by panelomo on April 3rd, 2009 , 4 comments (6 votes)

Boracay is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Philippines, this is our first time to venture and spurge into this famous destination, we had our mini-honeymoon here. :)

About half-an-hour plane travel from central Manila, Boracay is located in Visayas island. Describe your ideal beach holiday – usually, an honest reply would say… “Powdery White sand, crystal blue seas, sunny horizon, friendly locals and sumptuous local food!”

Did I miss anything else? oh yeah… fun fun fun all day and night!

Although we didn’t do much of the water activities, we had so much fun island hopping and paraw-sailing. A paraw is a make-shift boat popular in Asian beaches. It can travel as fast as the whole boat would literally fly and jump out of the water surface. Bumps and giggles would leave you asking for more, especially when the wind is very strong. Paraw-sailing is very famous for people who like to capture the beautiful sunset.

Snorkeling is also one activity we set sail to. You can see very beautiful school of fish formations, elegant corals, and endless marine life below surface.

Very nice hotels ranging from very affordable to lush private cabanas are almost countless. Not to mention local nightlife and enticing food are very much served around the area. Boracay is also famous to beautiful people around the Philippines. Most movie actors and TV stars frolick the beaches to spend their holidays as well.

What are you waiting for? Go ahead and join the fun in the sun! :)
