On that rough and narrow road, pitch black road, you wil see an interesting and beautiful coast landscape. At your right, when you go to south? you will see beaches, the ocean and the sky, and at your left you can see the fields, beautiful fields, nice or rude. We can go on that road in any season, wild in Autumn, wildest in Winter, sweet in Spring and hot in Summer (sometimes very hot! We are in Portugal´s south, aren´t we? So, that is not unusual!…) If you like bright sunlight, yes, go south, and give your attention to the road, cause we are very near to Vila Nova de Milfontes, a nice little village just near the sea.

We have spent two hours (more or less) from Lisbon. It is a place for tourists in Summer and a fishing place in Winter. It has a fishing port, near the village, where we can find (besides surprising fishing stuff) two restaurants with a superb view to the ocean. Mira river enters the ocean there, and makes the village more beautiful, spread among ocean, river and field. Of course, you can find there good restaurants and bars, some on the nearer beach, and an interesting night life… and amazing sun, rocks and either little or wide beaches. If you take a walk along the beaches you can find what I found amazing rocks and beaches and an old boat aground on a little and unknown beach.
