Living in york I realized that yet again there was so much I’d taken for granted (see my first location of york!) So this time I decided that I should view more, and with my friend we set about to do a day trip/touristy things.
We met up in town, armed with sunglasses, plenty of film and a variety of cameras we knew we were in for an exciting day!
The sun was shining, and we were out of control…
The thing about the buses for me is that you are higher up on the world, and all of a sudden the things that I haven’t appreciated seen are right at my level, not only allowing me to see down and around me.
It sounds silly, but it’s true, yet again I’ve seen another angle of york!
Our lovely bus driver was amused, bemused and bewildered by the variety of cameras we were using and was intrigued to know more!
I’d say if you ever get the chance open top buses provide a great resource for seeing the city, seeing things that you take for granted or have just plainly not seen before and all from a new perspective!
Happy shooting!
(just remember your umbrella on a rainy day!!! and be warned it can be windy up there!!)
