Borovets and the Rila Mountains
written by tommynorth on March 23rd, 2009 , 2 comments (2 votes)

I went to Borovets for work and I really enjoyed it. Its not too high up so the slopes aren’t as amazing as other places. Having said that it is a great place to bring young kids and learners. It has a selection of slopes for novices and experts totaling about 40km. This is being expanded to about 90km by 2012 which is cool. The scenery is beautiful. Pine covered mountains, snow peaks with relics of communist Bulgaria scattered throughout.

In the town of Borovets you will find friendly people always ready to party, good food and great drinks. All for very affordable prices. I will be going back there definitely.

    Nice photos.
I love the orange background and the light and colour of the polaroids.
