I love going on the ferry to sail around Sydney – it’s such a cool way to see parts of the city. Sydney Ferries have been around for 135 years and you can get to 39 destinations via these ferry boats. They have all different sizes of boat depending on the routes. Many who live and work in Sydney use them to commute backwards and forwards to work daily. Which is a pretty cool thing to do I think.

According to the website – http://www.sydneyferries.info/ ‘’Sydney Ferries operates approximately 110,000 services, transporting more than 14 million people across Sydney Harbour and the Parramatta River each year.’’ The web site also tells you this Sydney Ferries’ fleet consists of 28 vessels (all of which are wheelchair accessible), which travel around 1.3 million kilometers per year. The fleet is divided into six vessel classes: Freshwater Class (4 vessels) Lady Class (2 vessels) First Fleet Class (9 vessels) RiverCats (7 vessels) HarbourCats (2 vessels) SuperCats (4 vessels) – I like the super cats best of all :)
