You might say that once you’ve seen one zoo, you’ve seen them all. But the Memphis Zoo is not like most. Sure, it has the same animals you’d see at any zoo, lions, tigers, and bears. (Oh my!) But, the Memphis Zoo also has the scenery that provides the perfect backdrops for all of your lomo desires. The design of the zoo is like a short trip around the world with various styles of architecture.
This zoo is huge and the photo opps are endless. While the recent addition of a panda has become the star attraction, it is the plant life at the zoo that will provide the brilliant colors lomographer’s crave. While the zoo has recently been, remodeled, it still holds a lot of its retro charm too. There are still many older displays that are sure to catch your eye. The newer attractions are very well designed and lomographer’s dream.
Oh yeah…they have lots of animals too!
