Burj Dubai - The highest tower of the world
written by wil6ka on January 30th, 2009 , 5 comments (1 vote)

The tallest of ´em all. Oil is money and money is useful. The sheikhs in Dubai understood that time is playing against them and that their oil-resources are vanishing sooner then they can count to three. Therefore they started to build the most astonishing buildings and sights to attract more and more tourists. They have the only 7star Hotel with the Burj al Arab. They have the island-groups the palm and the world in the shape of their names. Michael Schumacher and David Beckham will be neighbours on their private islands.

The greatest building of them all will bet the Burj Dubai! It will bet the highest building of the universe and this is for sure! Because the final height is not yet been announced. It has been said it will be between 800 and 900 meters. But the real estate company is very flexible. It will react on other record-attempts of their worldwide competitors. So if they will have a shot and challenge the height of the Burj Dubai, the people in the Emirates will add a story or two! Right now has reached its current and for some time final height of 818 meters and 206 stories, but we will see if it will continue to grow…

Great shots! The aerial view of Burj Dubai (with the rest of the high-rise buildings) is ridiculous at night!
