Colossal. That is how I would describe Emirates’ dedicated terminal in Dubai. After hours in economy class, it was such a delight to see wide open spaces to walk about; The map said that you can walk from end-to-end in about 20 minutes, but I doubt that because of the shear volume of fellow passengers that gets in the way.

If there’s one thing that you need, they can provide it for you. Since this city is known for shopping, their duty-free shops cater almost everything, from cute souvenirs to designer bags. If walking is not your thing, you can relax in the lounge chairs near the boarding gates, or have some quiet time at the gardens on opposite ends of the terminal, and while you’re at it, you can also keep in touch with loved ones because almost every corner is a Wi-Fi hotspot. Other amenities include spas, pubs, prayer rooms, and even a hotel.
