Italian? American? Chinese or Mediterranean? German or Japanese? Name the gastronomic delight of your fancy and chances are, this short strip in Quezon City will probably have something to sate your desires. Be it formal, casual or even romantic, Tomas Morato St. will definitely cater to you.

Named after the first Mayor of Quezon City, the diversity of choices in terms of food and entertainment is only surpassed by the type of groups that frequent the place. Lovers, families, friends, schoolmates coworkers are what you’d find enjoying what this corner of the city has to offer.

Only half an hour from the city of Manila, the streets are dotted with things to see and do like independent art galleries that feature works of up and coming Filipino artists. Various Karaoke joints (both seedy and family oriented ;p ) can be found on the main thoroughfare.

If singing isn’t your thing why not move on to exclusive dance clubs? Be nice to the bouncer and you might just make it through the velvet rope. Head on over to a comedy club that feature some of the country’s top acts and celebrities from a popular day time variety program. Then end the night with your pick of java from the countless coffee shops that pepper the street and fuel up for the night / day ahead which ever comes first.
