I went to Pulau Sendal on New Year. No special purpose, it’s just so happen that I celebrated the New Year’s Eve in Lampung and I really want to see the beach there. So I went to Mutun Beach and take a five minutes boat ride to Pulau Sendal.
Pulau Sendal (Sandal Island) does look like sandal when you see it from faraway. It’s an unoccupied island with white sands, small forest, and a few reefs. If you’re lucky you’ll meet monkeys. It was holiday, the beach where we landed is crowded with people and sellers.
So I took a walk on the shore, enjoying the view and the clean air. I didn’t realize that the footpath ends but I saw a rocky reef and I want to go there, so after a few acrobatic stunts and a long walk I found and empty beach. I took pictures (of course!) but then got to tired to walk back (or around the island). So I stay and wait for the boat.
