It was another day to remember, the day when lomographers were so together;
Gia Gia Kua Kua, meaning “Walk Walk See See” in Hokkien; We walk-walk in George Town, and we see-see in a beautiful Penang Island. Where it is known as one of Malaysian Best Heritage. The story starts backwards this time.

During the night of 14th December 2008, a group of lomo-enthusiast, held a so called Lo-Fi Camera & Exhibition in Simon Tan Art Gallery, it was a combination of an Exhibition and a Competition. Simon Tan Art Gallery is a very beautiful art gallery where allowed us to be so crazy for this event, located only 5minutes from the centre of George Town. The Google map that I tagged is exactly where the gallery is.

Which also means where the exhibition was held. Each contestants must shoot 36 pictures by any analogue camera on on the first day; got them all developed on the same day, and make them into a personal panel on a board. All individual panels would all around the wall in Simon Tan Art Gallery,
The one who got most votes from visitors would be the Winner, and he would take 18 different rolls of films home. Congratulations to Edmund, he was the winner of the night. As always has been stated, making an event wasn’t for a competing purpose but to get everybody back together. Looking back time and sharing thoughts together. So, we had our 2007 Exhibition video presentation, which was touching enough to pull out somebody’s tears. We also had Singblass, a very romantic talented performer. He is a good singer, small joker, and big magician. He received a tremendous respond from his fans for doing a really really great concert of the night. He also pulling out a few people onto the stage to perform with him. I was one of them, I was the first one, arrgghh! Haha~!!! As well as Jhunnie, Rice, Chingyi, Ten10, and Jeepeng the organizer… Even Simon himself and his lovely wife too.
40 over members, uncountable numbers of visitors.

Gia Gia Kua Kua Lo-Fi Camera & Exhibition didn’t just ended like that, happiness and great memories are never to be forgotten, it’s all about friendship, it’s all about how we work this happen together.
