The place I always go back to is called Parliament Hill and is part of Hampstead Heath which is a huge park in North London. The best time to go is on a sunny Sunday afternoon. What you can see: lovers, loners, runners, ramblers, picnics, parties, young and old, bird life, wildlife, pond life, families, friends, poets, kids, kite flyers, tourists, sunbathers, strollers, sports, fun and frolics. Parliament Hill, a place where you can experience the very best sights, sounds and smells of London in one of its most wonderful parks.

Hampstead Heath provides a retreat to the country within the city – wide open spaces, lakes and ponds, a stately home, open air concerts and woodland all in one place. On a Sunny day all of London can be seen from the top of Parliament Hill, join the throng that collects there marveling at the view and soaking up the atmosphere. A unique opportunity for Lomography heads – there’s always something to shoot and a surprise is always just around the corner.

This is beautiful! Parliament Hill and Hampstead Heath are the best places to get away from it all in London and this says it all for me! R_44
