I’m now studying in Västerås, Sweden. It is only a small town yet several interesting places awaited to be discovered. One of those things is Mälaren, the third largest lake in Sweden.

Mälaren is surrounded itself with green space, cozy cafés, arts museums, and hi-society lake-only view apartments (exactly what I dream of having, lol). I was there in autumn when the weather was still good and the the day was still long, so people came out for the sun, sailing and picnicking.

It seems not to be so popular at the moment as the day is shorter and the weather is grey. This do makes me miss those brightest days and a shiny reflecting surface. What can I do for now? I just have to patiently wait and look forward to the summer that I will definitely find myself a chance to explore some islands within this lake and .. swim!!

Beautiful shots of my old hometown =) But those houses weren't there back then, just old railroad tracks, withered walls, metal scrap, graffiti and the occasional Russian or Baltic cargo ship where you could buy cheap Vodka and cigarettes =)
