According to the Lonely Planet Bangkok, Siam Square is a network of some 12 lanes lined with Shops, selling mid price designer clothes, books, sporting goods and antiques – for the lomographers eye it´s a paradise of shots that needs to be taken at the square. Tourists, Ladyboys, Students, and Businessman – all collide in this commercial melting pot.
You can reach the place easily with the sky train, which is cheap and the air condition inside is a nice refreshment that comes for free. In front of Siam Square station there are B Boys practicing their skills in the evening and also for architecture lovers you can find so many objects to comfort your eyes and your lenses. Try to grab some nice street food and asked if you can take a shot of their tasty food or aim your camera on the nice decorated Tuk Tuks…. if you like x-pro pics – then you should load a Velvia and get some pics of these pink cabs – I bet the shots will turn out amazing. Aah…by the way – don´t forget to check out the photo mall inside MBK Center. Enjoy Thailand!
