Since last school year I've been living in the beautiful student city called Ghent. Living here as a local has learned me to appreciate the beautiful authentic village that is bursting with life.
Since last school year I’ve been living in the beautiful student city called Ghent. Living here as a local has learned me to appreciate the beautiful authentic village that is bursting with life.
When I first started analog photography, my first roll was completely taken in Ghent, while wandering in the many little streets at night. I discovered many bars and cozy restaurants.
Since most shots were taking after midnight, some places were already closed. This was a nice opportunity to capture them in a deserted state, free from all human hassle and movement. Nothing moves, everything is dark. Often lit by beautiful lights.
I really advice to take your camera out for a walk at night in your local city, or why not my city Ghent? :)

Nice work man :) I love ghent to, right now I study Architecture in Leuven, if it wasn't for the great University i would already have settled in Ghent
Although I do believe it is much nicer to live and work their, then to study . Or is that total crap :) ?

Studying is studying, university is university, I don't think there's any difference between Leuven and Ghent for that.
I'm happy to study in Ghent cause I have the nice little extra of living in a beautiful town! :)
