Fortress of Kaitbay

Another place to visit in Alexandria, it was our 2 days tour only but there are so much photos to share. So this is the Fortress of Kaitbay. The Fortress of Kaitbay is one of Alexandria most famous ancient lighthouse that was built in 279B.C. The term lighthouse has the meaning itself, but we do not see any lighthouse when we get there. The reason is easy and simple, it was already destroyed by a disaster that happened long time ago.
Standing on top of this castle, is a breath-taking overview the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. Not only that, but it was an overlooking at the whole city of Alexandria. To me this castle is marvelous, adventurous, and challenging. Due to time constraint of our tour, I only had a chance to explore 75% of the whole tower, which was still not satisfying still. The castle is huge, if anyone of you is going to this place by your own, make sure you get yourself explored to all the edges of this castle, I am sure it’s going to be really great.
As a conclusion, I really love the pictures of overlooking at the whole city of Alexandria, it is beautiful, really beautiful.
