Queen Elizabeth Park is one of the most visited places in Vancouver. According to the park board the park receives 6 Million visitors a year and that it is also the highest place in Vancouver.

I decided to go and check it out with my trusty Lubitel 166, and what a place it is! The park is home to a Bowling Green, Rose Garden, Water Fountains, Statues, a Wedding Venue, a Restaurant and the Bloedel Floral Conservatory. The Building for the conservatory is truly one of a kind, I couldn’t stop photographing it, the angles are endless. The park is also home to some of the best views in the city, you can see Downtown and the Rocky Mountains! Truly spectacular.

The Park is home to the Season,s in the Park Restaurant which is very high end and has those great views, its a place that the rich and famous have sought out and there’s good reason. The park is also home to the Bloedel Floral Conservatory which houses Tropical plants, Birds, Fish and Flowers it’s been around since 1969 and is really worth a visit.

The Park also has a surprise in store for the Lomographer. There is a Bronze Statue of a man photographing his wife and 2 friends, he is cast arranging the shot with his friends posed against one of the best views in the City, i have always wondered, What type of Film is he using?
