Cycling to work, York UK

I have a bit of a bad habit of documenting most things I do with a camera.. at least one photo relevant to something I do/have done! well I cycle to work everyday and Im proud of myself when I say it’s 7 mile a day! I have a lovely purple ladies cycle with a basket on the front and a luggage carrier on the rear and to be totally honest – I LOVE it. I get to have some me time with my cameras.
The journey can be rather empty at 7:30 am on morning but a lovely 25 minute cycle provides me with usually some lovely light, nice skies, and desolate landscapes as I cycle away of the hustle and bustle of the city against the commuting traffic.
YES – I did get funny looks as I cycle along with my camera held at arms length hoping that I can get shots over the hedges – or maybe its the fact I wear leopard print earmuffs as I cycle – they do keep my ears soooo warm!!
Most pictures are shot whilst cycling and this creates unpredictable images! some blurred, some not! sometimes I’ve stopped at a fancy like a farmers cow watching the world go by, except I am watching from the world. Through a looking glass!! There is just something about natural light that is crisp just like the weather in November, the blue skies create a vibrant backdrop to any image.
