Beijing 798 Art Zone
written by breakphreak on November 20th, 2008 (1 vote)

Gone thru Beijing, visited all the historical places and now you think that you’ve seen it all? Sooooo wrong! Don’t dare to leave without dropping by to one of the most impressive exhibition districts in the world, called “798” (Chi-Chio-Pa in Chinese). You will be shocked to find that outstanding kind of treasure.

The zone consists of various exhibitions of all kinds of media, coming from plenty of masters around the world: photo, video, installations, graphics, sculptures and so one. If this is not enough – it all resides in a region of lots factories (read “sci-fi steam-punk industrial landscapes”).

Don’t miss it – some rumors say that the artists will try to find a new place because of increasing land rent prices!
