A night at the Carnival - Geraldo Costa Square

Some small towns have a big square where these little Carnival stops on special dates. By the nature of these places, with a lot of colorful things and full of neon or lights, it´s a perfect spot to take your lomo lc-a to a night safari. I call it safari because you´ll find many human "subjects" to "hunt", if you know what I mean. Every type of people come to the Carnival at night on the weekend, and you´ll be pleased with the portraits possibilities.

The lights are another source of great lomographies. If you own a lomo lc-a, or a camera with bulb setting, you´ll fell comfort as in home, just shot to every point of light trying to catch the particular atmosphere of the place. In this Square has a lot of concerts and Music Festivals, sometimes in the same Carnival weekend, so you can shot some pics of the musical performance in addition to the carnival stuff. Don´t be afraid to get out at night and follow straight to the Carnival.
Take your lomos to a night at the Carnival, you will never forget. And never forget to use fast films to prevent blur (except if it´s the blur what are you looking for).
Good look, good hunt!
