Old Town White Coffee is famous with its original white coffee origin from Ipoh, Perak. The aroma of the coffee smells really good. I managed to drop by the OldTown White Coffee at Java One, PJ with my Lomo Member during dinner.
The Old Town coffee is one of the few local coffee brand that made it beyond the city confine of their origin. It all started from a small coffee shop in Ipoh old town. Hence the brand name, and ingenuity made them into the house hold coffee name that we know of today. Their famous white coffee is now marketed through the supermarket shelves in the form of small instant packets. Their ingenuity have brought them to the next level, they now have a new malaysian style’s coffee shop at the PJ. Most interesting of all, they are located next to “Seattle” best? Starbucks.
If I’m not mistaken, this visit is my 8th time, I had drinks in Old Town White Coffee. I order a “Ying Yeong” (Coffee Mix with Tea) ,while my friend order Old Town Enrich Chocolate. Their “Ying Yeong” taste very nice! I tried my friend’s Old Town Enrich Chocolate, it’s Very tasty too! It’s cheap and recommended !! The cozy environment making the whole drinking experience very comfortable while enjoying the beautiful black and white pictures hanging on the wall.
There is a lot of Old Town White Coffee franchise in Malaysia. You can get it mostly everywhere in town, especially at Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya area. It’s really a recommended place to visit, if you wanted to try on some local food and also drink. Don’t forget to try out the most famous, white coffee!
