Have you ever felt small and insignificant? Have you ever wanted to feel like a giant peering over the rooftops? Well… If you did, then “Portugal dos pequenitos” (Portugal of the little ones) is just the place for you!
Built in 1940 as “a learning-through-play park basically intended for children”, Portugal dos pequenitos is a playground that features miniature scale houses from around the Portuguese language countries, exhibitions and a children playground with swings and slides. Portugal dos pequenitos is a monument to Portuguese culture all around the world.
Its a great place to spend a day with your kids, and an even better place to be with your cameras, since you can get great pictures of the perfectly detailed miniature houses and monuments. If you go there take LOTS of film! (I think I used 5 medium format films on my Diana and 4 35mm films between my LC-A and Supersampler)
