Kitsilano Beach Park or Kits park as it’s locally known is one of the most popular spots in Vancouver.
Having visited the place throughout the seasons it holds a certain special quality all of its own. During the Summer months its packed with people soaking up the sun or playing Frisbee. During the Autumn and Winter it’s a great place to walk,cycle or take the dog out.
There are many highlights of the Park, one being Kits Pool. This is the longest outdoor pool in Canada at 137 meters long! It’s filled with sea water that has been heated slightly, making for a bracing swim during the Summer months!
The best attraction of the park however is the scenery, it really lives up to the provinces motto: Beautiful British Columbia.
