Arne Jacobsen did some buildings in Denmark, and especially in Copenhagen: SAS Royal Hotel, Danish National Bank… But my favorite area is Bellevue.
Be ready to travel to the 30’s. The first spot is the gas station, hard to know if you are in the past or in the future: rounded shapes, all walls covered with white tiles, and a beautiful clock with red spots. Then you’ll find the housing (lucky the ones who live there), the Theater and a restaurant. At the other side of the road there’s the beach. Even there Jacobsen designed a guard tower. In my opinion, is the best place to spend a hot afternoon in the Danish big city.
