Lomnický Štít in High Tatras

High Tatras (Vysoke tatry) in Slovakia are highest mountains in the country with its specific ecology and biological systems and endemits (there was a huge devastating storm in 2006 which destroyed half trees in the valleys). But i don’t want to tell you about the nature.
Tatras are most beautiful in winter, nature photographers are honoring them as a finger licking stuff. The place which you must visit is Lomnický štít. Its 2632 m over the sea level and you can get there by air cable (10-15minutes to the top). Prices for it is standard, but on the top of the mountain, where awaits you restaurant (and astronomical observatory), there are prizes a bit more overcharged.
One thing you will not get anywhere on the world are special Lomnický štít postcards. The thing is that you can send it on the place. They have a postcard box out there. On the midpoint of the mountain you can enjoy the system of foot ways bounded from the abysses and chasms just with simple banister. You can feel adrenaline pumping in your neck when looking down. Its one of the most beautiful places in Slovakia of course, the view is simply stunning. My friend Jogintas from Lithuania was there this year, he loved it. The best thing is that when you get down to the “base”, you can follow dozen of attractions in romantic High Tatras (museums, parks)or just go skiing and enjoying the breathing of a fresh air.
