The Real name of this flat is Perumahan Awam Tuanku Abdul Rahman, named after the first Ruler (Agong) of Malaysia. Built in 1969, they consist of seven 17-storey flats to provide housing for the low-income city dwellers. Now, the flats have been earmarked to be demolished. In its place will be a new commercial and housing project (Tamansari Riverside Garden City).
All residents have since left these abandoned flats. Some scrap metal collectors are occasionally seen, gathering whatever metals deemed valuable to be recycled.
It situated in the middle of Kuala Lumpur, where its near General Hospital Besar Kuala Lumpur. Its easy to find where its the only old tall building which still standing and its look creepy. It become a place that had witness the 39 years development of Kuala Lumpur.
