The Courthouse Extension by Gunnar Asplund.
written by minicooper on October 15th, 2008 , one comment (1 vote)

Erik Gunnar Asplund (1885 –1940) is my favorite Swedish architect. I’ve seen some of his works, but I have to admit that when I stepped inside the Extension of the Göteborg Courthouse (1917-37), my heart almost stopped! It is still working as courthouse, and if you ask for taking pictures there is no problem. In the picture taken from the outside, the building is the extension on the right!
