Into the Wilderness - Haiming
written by agrimony on October 9th, 2008 , 2 comments (0 votes)

If you want to see an eerie place you have to go into the woods of Haiming, a little village near where I live, when dusk rises. Most of the trees there are gnarly pines which used to look like bad monsters in the growing dark – if you have a little bit of fantasy and imagination.

There are also lots of bushes and undergrowth there and sometimes it is really hard to pave one’s way through it because as an adventurer you will not use the paths on your way through the wilderness and growing darkness. (I hope there are no rangers among you :D) When you find the place where you want to take a little rest to maybe drink the bottle of beer you took with you be silent and don’t move fast – maybe then you can see one of the sylvan living there, like deer, foxes, I even saw a badger once – or something like that…

Your way out will be very challenging because it is dark now. You almost can’t see your hand in front of your face. Some good advice of mine: bring your torch with you ;). Even with it it’s spooky enough to stumble through the deep wood and find your way out of it. If you ever will…
