A little while ago, I went to shoot in an abandoned textile factory (see in my other locations)… As it was great fun and gave me really cool pics, I’ve been looking for other similar places to go with my cameras!
This one is an abandoned factory which, as I learned from some friends of the neighborhood, used to produce cars headlights or something similar, but I couldn’t find anything more about this place on the web…
Now it’s a place where homeless and squatters come to sleep (so you’d better not go there alone and surely not at night.. Anyway you need light for shooting!!), and where are sometimes organized illegal rave parties.
There is a hole in the wall on the back side so it’s really easy to enter and you should not see many people in there during the day. This place is quite huge, made of many buildings of different sizes and shapes, which walls are mostly covered with graffiti. Both the architecture and these modern artworks make it a cool place for having fun with your cameras, especially if you own a Horizon!! I’ve been walking around for something like an hour with Misskhali, both shooting here and there, we also saw a guy so drunk he didn’t even notice us… I guess I’ll go back there in a few month to see if there are new graffiti!!
