Derelict Building (Boston)
written by dbc2 on October 4th, 2008 (1 vote)

A friend took me through an abandoned building in downtown Boston. It is located near the TD Bank North Garden and used to house architectural firms, clothing manufacturers, and studio spaces. One room is full of buttons and the views of the Leonard P. Zakim Bunker Hill Bridge from the roof are spectacular.

Despite the abandonment, the old building has beautiful marble in the lobby and orated brass decorations around the elevators. I’d imagine the building will eventually be converted to expensive condominiums at some point.
