Prachaup Khiri Khan (Kui Buri)
written by hhjm on September 29th, 2008 , one comment (1 vote)

Kui Buri is district in Prachaup Khiri Khan, in the south of Thailand. Most people earn a living as a farmer or a fisherman because the big area is plain and near the Gulf of Thailand. The beach at Kui Buri very quiet and native. There is a small village around here. No big hotel or department store.

You can find white sand and much of beach morning glory around here. In the morning you can see footprint of crabs on the beach, it is true that this area is still untouched. At night the fisherman go to pic up the squid by boat with green spotlight, because the squid like to play with green light. The fisherman used green spotlight to tempt squid and pic up them. Amazing! When you are on the beach and looking most of fishermen boats seem like stars in the sea. Kui Buri is a good place for your short holiday, not so far from Bangkok, you can drive about 3-4 hours to go there.
