Abbey Road is the famous studio where The Beatles recorded a lot of their songs, albums, musical interludes and their final studio album Let it Be. (George told John to f off or something like that.)
Many other artists have recorded there including Pink Floyd (Dark side of the Moon) and more importantly my friend Jim Boggia. He invited me down and i brought my Holga and loved every minute of it. Jim is a Beatles nut and asked for all the original kit they used. All the instruments and mics would have been used by the fab four including the piano i am “playing”. A very memorable day.
http://www.jimboggia.com – lomography is all about analogue and you won’t find a more analogue musician. He even released his new album “Misadventures in Stereo” on vinyl. Go to itunes and check it out!
