Tioman Island (Pahang)
written by eva_eva on September 13th, 2008 , one comment (2 votes)

One word to describe Tioman Island – Peaceful. A small island located 32 km off the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia in the state of Pahang, it’s indeed one of the beautiful islands in Malaysia.

The crystal clear water is suitable for snorkeling and water sports or u can discover the beautiful underwater world when you go diving. It’s definitely a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. How to get there? Tioman Island is accessible by boat from Mersing town or Tanjung Gemok, Rompin, a journey which takes about 1 to 2 hours. Or one can also take a plane either from Kuala Lumpur, Singapore or Kuantan. I definitely will pay another visit again, very soon.

Been there three times already and the recent one was just last June. And I'm going to Tioman again this weekend for my diving license. =D
