Portobello Road: A lovely lunch time walk
written by tommynorth on September 12th, 2008 (0 votes)

I work near notting hill. I work in an office. I work at a desk, looking at a screen……all day. It’s as exciting as it sounds. To ease the pain of monotony i go for little walks in various directions. Today it was glorious Portabello Road. The area is rammed full of funky second hand shops, antiques and assorted bric-a-brac. It also has the usual cheap shops full of high prices just for the tourists.

There is no shortfall in places to eat and drink either with a fine selection of pubs and restaurants. I like the Fat Badger, but there is a cool sausage and mash place under the motor way (not as bad as it sounds)
