After spending the first 22 years of my life living in york, I realized that I’d never really looked around me, my time was consumed (like so many others) with dashing to and from work, the pub, or a friends house! so I decided it was time to explore the world around me.
I visited the Minster – a large historical church with intricate stonework and ideal for the fisheye due to its vertical lines and tall structure, surrounding the minster are many smaller churches and buildings that are set back from the hectic city life that goes on around the tranquil locations.
York is a surprisingly tall city and with so many people walking around watching their feet as they dash from A to B I guess I’m saying this location is all about looking up and seeing what you can see… as this is what I can see!
I got a real sense of fulfillment from looking up :)
