Snow covered mountains that reach the skies (2450 m. summit peak) offer the best snowboarding and skiing the world has seen. With 106 runs, an average snowfall of over 650 cm and thousands of acres of open slopes and bowls….this mountain offers it all!
The Golden Eagle Express is the main gondola that gets you to all the action. The eight man ‘plastic bubbles’ take twelve minutes to get to the top. What a ride! On a clear day the views are unreal; the town of Golden, the Columbia Valley and the Columbia River. At the peak of the chairlift you’ll find yourself in a dilemma….ski left, ski right or stop for a snack at the day lodge, Eagles Eye.
Just three hours outside of Calgary, this resort offers everything for an alpine getaway. Accommodation are located at the mountain base, there’s even shopping and restaurants. Great apres ski activities include; horse drawn sleigh rides, ice skating, and fine dining. Great for adventure lovers!
