Heritage Park Cemetery (Taguig)

In the Philippines, Christians celebrate All Souls Day and All Saints Day by visiting the graves of their relatives who have passed away. Families typically spend a few hours or even the whole day at the cemetery so food stalls are usually available to sell pizzas, hamburgers, hotdogs, dimsum, ice cream, and many others. My friends and I went to the Heritage Park to take pictures. It was our first time there.
The first thing we noticed is that it is an ideal place for airplane watching. The cemetery is very near the airport so we could see planes flying low. Some have just taken off, and some were about to land. The 76-hectare memorial park has lot of green spaces and only a few trees, so it is also a good place for kite flying. There is also a beautiful lagoon for fishing. The Heritage Park is located in Fort Bonifacio, an urban development within Taguig City. It is situated between two other cemeteries—the Libingan ng mga Bayani (a national cemetery of heroes) and the Manila American Cemetery and Memorial (a cemetery for US military personnel killed during World War II in the Philippines)
