Santa Cruz Island (Channel Islands, Ca)
written by brendend on July 15th, 2008 , one comment (1 vote)

Located off the coast of California, Santa Cruz Island is an incredible Lomolocation with cliffs, coasts, caves and coves to explore! Camping overnight guarantees an island fox sighting, and chances are you’ll see (or at least hear) seals at one point or another.

Hike to the top of the mountains and depending on the time of year you visit, you could see blue or gray whales migrating, dolphins playing in the wake of boats. Santa Cruz Island also offers some of the BEST kayaking in California, so make sure to bring the waterproof Lomos when you visit!
