Besalú Bridge

Besalú is a little village in the north-east of Catalonia (Spain), in a region known by its volcanoes (all inactive, I think) and for being the place more similar to the Tolkien´s "The Shire".

We were at Besalú during the Medieval Festival and I took some pics, most of them with a 35mm slide film. Besalú is an amazing place, very quiet and nice, famous for its medieval bridge and its Jewish streets. In my opinion, the best of Besalú are the kind and gentle people, the perfect conservation of the architecture, the food! Gorgeous! And the little hotel, Martana Gardens, where we stayed a couple of days … So many nice things from that place!
