Wat Phra Kaew. If you have a chance to visit Thailand, Wat Phra Kaew is a destination you should not miss!!!

Wat Phra Kaew or The Emerald Buddha temple is located in the inner city of Bangkok. Because of its highly detailed architectural features, there are thousands of foreign tourists visiting the place each day. Therefore, sometimes it is hard to get a shot of beautiful landscape or architectures because the place is packed with a lot of people.

The temple is a treasure house of Thai arts and houses the Emerald Buddha, the most revered Buddha image in Thailand. Not only can you see splendid architectures and Buddha image, you can also see large and long Ramayana paintings on the wall of the temple. Moreover, elegant giant statues are placed outside the building.

Unfortunately, photography inside the building, where the Emerald Buddha is housed, is not allowed so I can only show you all around.

The temple is open daily from 8.30 a.m.- 3.30 p.m. Admission fee for foreigners is 200 baht (including a ticket to Vimarnmek Royal Mansion). Dress properly when you plan to visit the temple because no-sleeve shirt, shorts and sandals are not allowed in the complex.

How to get there??? There is no MRT or sky trains available in the area yet. The easiest way to get there is taking a taxi or our unique style 3-wheel taxi which we call Tuk Tuk.
